There are a few small hotels, but the main boarding capacity are rental appartments and houses. That is also part of the island's charm. Centuries old stone houses (renovated, of course ;) are very sought after. The guests live in an authentic Mediterranean surrounding, as a part of the local community. "Mediterranean as it once was" is not just a slogan, it is the way of life on the island. Another curiosity is the complete absence of car traffic. Thanks to that fact the island has remained quiet and pleasant.

Everything on the island is a 10 minute walk away, and you can easily reach Zlarin, Vodice or Sibenik via the local ferry line.
If a visitor wants to visit some of the uninhabited islands in the vicinity, or go fishing the traditional style, their hosts can arrange it. Everything you need to traverse the island is a pair of walking shoes. Because of its agricultural heritage, the island is criss-crossed with walkways used to access gardens.
